Membership & associations

Who can see what about me?

Other members see your name, your profile picture and your role. They never see your contact details, your personal identity number or your payment status. Members without app access are visible only to administrators and leaders.

What other members see

In the member list, in the chat and in the feed you appear with your name and profile picture. If you are a leader, it shows as a badge next to your name.

On your profile they also see which groups you belong to, the tags the association has given you, when you joined and, if you sit on the board, your position.

What you write and answer is visible to the people it is addressed to: your chat messages, your posts and comments, and your response to an event.

What administrators and leaders see

Administrators and leaders also see your contact details — email address, phone number and postal address — because they need to be able to reach you. They also see details such as date of birth and gender, if the association has asked for them.

Your payment status is shown only to administrators, to you and to your guardian. Personal identity numbers are shown masked in the app; the exception is the LOK reporting sheet that an administrator of a sports association generates.

If the association has listed you as a contact person, the contact details the association has entered there are shown to all members.

Members who do not use the app

An association can have members who are on the register without using the app, such as children without an account of their own. They are not shown to other members in the member list and are not suggested when someone is mentioned in the chat or the feed — only administrators and leaders see them.

If you are a guardian, you see your own child as soon as the link is active, even when the child has no app access. If you respond to an event on the child's behalf, the child's name appears among the responses to that event.

This applies across the app, not just the list: their name, contact details and profile picture are not given to other members — apart from the exceptions above, and the details the association itself enters if it lists one of them as a contact person.

If you want to be less visible

The profile picture is optional — you add or remove it under Account.

If you have a protected identity, tell the association's administrator. Other members then see "Skyddad identitet" in place of your name, and no profile picture — in the member list, the chat, the feed and among the responses to an event. You cannot be found by searching your name either, and you cannot be listed as a contact person. Administrators and leaders see your name.

If you show your membership card or pass on a payment link, the person you show it to sees your name.
