Link several email addresses to your account
You can link up to three extra email addresses to the same Membly account. Once an address is confirmed you can sign in with it, and an invitation sent to it finds your existing account instead of creating a new one.
What to do
Open Account from the menu ("My account") and go to Email addresses.
Tap "Add email address" and enter the address.
Tap "Send code" and type in the six-digit code from the email.
The code is valid for 10 minutes. No email? Check your spam folder or tap "Send new code" — a new code always replaces the previous one.
Tap "Confirm the address" — done.
Good to know
Sendouts, reminders and notifications keep going to your sign-in address — the one marked "Primary". The extra addresses are keys for signing in and receiving invitations, not delivery addresses.
Your extra addresses are private: association administrators never see them, neither in the member list nor in exports.
If you remove an address you can no longer sign in with it, and invitations to it no longer find your account.
If Membly asks you to confirm it is you
A new address is a new way into your account. If it has been a while since you signed in, Membly asks you to confirm it is you: tap "Send a sign-in link", open the link in the email to your usual sign-in address, and you come straight back. The link always goes to your existing address — never to the new one.
If no code arrives
Check your spam folder and tap "Send new code". If no code ever arrives, the address may already be used to sign in to another Membly account — then no code is sent, and the owner of the address gets an email that someone tried to link it. If that other account is your own: read the article about duplicate accounts.
